After being named an ECHO Rising Star in 2008/09 ( https://www.concerthallorganisation.eu/artists/93 ), it has performed in renowned concert halls across Europe and major festivals such as the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg and Salzburg’s Mozart Week. The ensemble has also toured the U.S., Mexico, Argentina, Australia, Japan, and China. The 2023/24 season highlights included a new recording of 20th-century music, concerts at Vienna’s Konzerthaus, London’s Wigmore Hall, and two tours with pianist Kit Armstrong, “Expedition Mozart.” Winners of multiple chamber music competitions, the quartet has received prestigious Austrian awards. Mentored by the Alban Berg Quartett, it has recorded acclaimed albums for Hänssler Classic and Avi Music. The Austrian National Bank has lent it rare instruments, and the ensemble regularly gives master classes worldwide. The name Minetti references a play by Austrian author Thomas Bernhard.\n \n \n
