His compositions were first presented at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall ( https://www.lincolncenter.org/venue/alice-tully-hall ), where he performed alongside jazz legends Jeff “Tain” Watts and Robert Hurst.\n\nAbout the Artist\n\nBorn in 2001, in Lucenec, Slovakia, Alan Bartus comes from a family of musicians. He began piano lessons at four and later moved to Austria, where he quickly excelled. He studied at the Bratislava Conservatory and later at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He has shared the stage with artists such as Pharoah Sanders, Ravi Coltrane, and Enrico Rava, whose influence extends into the worldwide jazz scene. Douglas has performed at venues like Porgy & Bess in Vienna, ( https://www.porgy.at/ ) a central hub for international jazz musicians. His work continues to resonate in Austria, where he frequently collaborates with European artists and contributes to the evolving jazz landscape.\n \n \n\nBorn in 1976 in Bratislava, Slovakia, Martin Valihora is a drummer ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Valihora ) with strong ties to the Austrian jazz scene. After studying at the Bratislava Conservatory, he expanded his musical journey through collaborations in Austria, where he performed with various ensembles.
