On September 18, 2025, from 2 PM to 7 PM, the Austrian Cultural Forum New York will host a public masterclass led by Fliedl, offering young cellists in New York and beyond a rare opportunity to work one-on-one—free of charge—with one of Europe’s leading performers. The masterclass is open to cello students and recent graduates. Active participants will be selected through an open application process. Attendance is free for both performers and audience members.\nTo apply, send your artistic bio, video recording, proposed program (two contrasting pieces), a few sentences on your motivation to apply, and proof of enrollment (if available) to events@acfny.org. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of the selection process by September 14, 2025.\nApplication Deadline: September 7, 2025\n
