SUMMARY:Fliedl & Tellian: Timeless Classical Gems for Cello and Piano
DESCRIPTION:Images: Julia Wesely & Shervin Lainez\n \nSeptember 17 | 6:30 PM\nTICKETS AVAILABLE HERE\n \nJoin us for an intimate evening of classical gems, performed by two of Austria’s most exciting young talents: cellist Jeremias Fliedl ( https://jeremiasfliedl.com/ ) and pianist Kiron Atom Tellian.  ( https://kironatomtellian.com/ )\n\nAbout the Concert\nIt doesn’t take more than a cello and a piano to capture the soul of classical music. In this rare duo recital, Jeremias Fliedl and Kiron Atom Tellian invite the audience on a journey through four centuries of sound—from the quiet elegance of Bach’s Arioso to the intensity of Rachmaninoff’s masterful Cello Sonata. The concert begins with Bach’s poignant cantata melody, followed by Schubert’s Arpeggione Sonata—a lyrical and tender dialogue between two instruments. Arvo Pärt’s Spiegel im Spiegel offers a moment of stillness and introspection, before the evening culminates in the sweeping Romanticism of Rachmaninoff. A celebration of deep musical connection, this program is more than a performance—it’s an invitation to feel: excitement, silence, resonance, and movement.\n\nConcert Program\n\nJohann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750)Arioso from the Cantata Ich steh mit einem Fuß im Grabe, BWV 156\nFranz Schubert (1797–1828)Sonata for Arpeggione (Cello) and Piano in A minor, D. 821• Allegro moderato• Adagio• Allegretto\nArvo Pärt (*1935)Spiegel im Spiegel\nSergei Rachmaninoff (1873–1943)Sonata for Cello and Piano in G minor, Op. 19• Lento – Allegro moderato• Allegro scherzando• Andante• Allegro mosso\n\n\nAbout the Artists\nJeremias Fliedl: ( https://www.instagram.com/jeremiasfliedl/ ) Praised for his “technical brilliance” (Concerti) and “soulful expression” (Klassik Heute), Austrian cellist Jeremias Fliedl is one of the rising stars of his generation.
