Known for her bold forms, vivid colors, and playful irreverence, she challenged traditional ideals of femininity and beauty while redefining ceramics as a vehicle of avant-garde innovation. The show also explores her influential American years, when she introduced her distinctive vision to New York and beyond, merging European modernism with the dynamism of American design.\nComplementing Wieselthier’s oeuvre is a new site-specific installation by New York–based Austrian artist Sascha Mallon ( https://www.saschamallon.art/ ), offering a contemporary dialogue with her life and work.
