Paying tribute to Ludovico Ariosto ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ludovico_Ariosto ) and Virginia Woolf ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virginia_Woolf ), the production explores fluidity, transformation, and the crossing of borders through a contemporary European lens.\nAbout the Event\nPart concert, part spoken performance, part cinematic experience, ORLANDO TRIP unfolds through twelve songs, intermezzi, and videos that trace the journey of Orlando — knight, traveler, ambassador, and nomadic conqueror of rigid identities. Seamlessly blending stage and film, music and literature, Fox On Ice creates an immersive world where humans and landscapes, masculinity and femininity, reality and myth continuously transform into one another. Described by critics as “a performance with a hypnotic aura” and “a successful mix of elegance and opulence,” ORLANDO TRIP offers sensual access to a European myth centered on fluidity and the feminine art of transformation. The internationally acclaimed production has been presented at theaters and festivals across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Asia.\nAbout the Artists\n\nFox On Ice ( https://foxonice.com/ ) is the collaborative band project of writer, singer, and performer Anna Luca Poloni and composer, musician, and visual artist Christian Mair. Based in Vienna and performing internationally, the duo develops performing arts concerts that reinterpret myth through female and fluid perspectives, working at the intersection of music, literature, film, and theatre.\nPoloni is an Austro-Italian writer, singer, and performer whose work has been presented at institutions including Wiener Festwochen, Schauspielhaus Wien, Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen, and Grand Théâtre Luxembourg. She is professor for directing at the Max Reinhardt Seminar Vienna and founder and artistic director of Wortwiege.
