DESCRIPTION:Fall 2010 Perpetual Peace Conversations\nat the New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York\nJoin us on Thursday, November 4th from 6:30-8:30pm, at the New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York, for two casual conversations with Andreas Stadler and Adam Lupel.\nAndreas Stadler, born 1965, is a leading Austrian diplomat, cultural manager and curator, who studied political science in Vienna, Warsaw and Florence. Stadler was Deputy Ambassador of Austria in Zagreb, director of the Austrian Cultural Forum in Warsaw, and advisor for science, art, and culture to the Austrian Federal President. He has been the director of the Austrian Cultural Forum New York since 2007 and publishes on international relations and cultural politics.\nAdam Lupel of the International Peace Institute (IPI) directs all IPI books, policy reports, and related publications. He also maintains an active research agenda on issues of popular sovereignty, globalization, and the international politics of genocide.
