Helmut Jasbar is a virtuoso guitar soloist, performing at both jazz and classical music venues. Jasbar has had tremendous success with his recordings and performances of both classical and jazz works ranging from Bach to Miles Davis. His own compositions have been well received by the general public and his recent works have been extensively performed by some of the world’s finest guitar players. On his North Carolina tour, he will be performing solo at Beckwith Recital Hall as well as with the Duo Sureño (Nancy King, soprano / Robert Nathanson, guitar) and Vienna-based violinist Livia Sellin at the Cameron Art Museum.
