The Austrian-American Media Fellowship Program (AAMFP) provides young U.S. journalists with the opportunity to travel to Austria in order to conduct in-depth journalistic research in one of Europe’s centres for business, science, culture and international diplomacy. Participants will have exclusive access to decision-makers from politics and business and will be able to look behind the scenes of some of the many International Organisations based in Vienna, including the United Nations. To get a better idea of the program offered, take a look at last year’s program. After the two successful rounds of the AAMFP in 2022 and 2023, the third round will take place from June 2 – 13, 2024 and is administered by the Vienna School for International Studies in partnership with the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs. The fellowship covers the entire cost of travel and housing.
