ACFNY SUPPORTED | SPECIAL EVENT | AUSTRO-SLOVAK FASHION NIGHT
This year’s Austro-Slovak Fashion Night NYC “Fashion Fights Malnutrition“ will introduce the Slovakian designers: Zlatica Hujbertová, Petra Poórová, and Ingrid Budovská in tandem with the Austrian designer Magdalena Adriane Toth, and Mialy Seheno from Madagascar.
All proceeds from the evening will be donated to Maventy Health International Foundation, Madagascar Children Malnutrition Project (www.maventy.org) and their initiative to build a sustainable health care model in rural Madagascar, one of the poorest countries in the world, to save human lives, to improve health and quality of life through the most modern ways of prevention and early intervention. Maventy Health International`s goal is to provide nutritional support to the local villagers on an ongoing basis.
The evening will be hosted by Tamara Heribanova from Slovakia and the American actor Brad Pennington. Slovakia’s very own Double Cross Vodka will provide delicious cocktails to all in attendance while DJ Eitan Noyze spins the after party.
The Annual Slovak Fashion Night is the signature event of the +421 Foundation Inc. For this, the sixth year, +421 has partnered with the Austrian Cultural Forum New York and the Permanent Mission of the Slovak Republic to the United Nations, to produce the first ever Austro-Slovak Fashion Night NYC. This year’s event takes place under the patronage of H.E. Mikulas Dzurinda, the Foreign Minister of Slovakia.
