In her impressive feature documentary, young Austrian director Nina Kusturica adresses a very sensitive issue which concerns most European countries: migration and asylum. Her protagonists are a special group of refugees: they are teenagers, all alone on their way through Europe to seek asylum in Austria. “Little Alien” follows these teens on their dangerous journey through Europe.

“Little Alien” won second place Feature Documentary, and first prize for Best Editing of a Feature Documentary at the 2010 Los Angeles International Film Festival.
