CONCERT | LYLIT
The ACFNY is pleased to host one of Austria’s top pop & RnB musicians LYLIT for a special concert. LYLIT spent the last year working on her debut album that is going to be released in 2018. For this evening she will give her audience a preview of these new songs accompanied by two of her favorite musicians: producer and drummer Andreas Lettner and guitarist Christian Neuschmid.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
LYLIT aka Eva Klampfer has been surrounded by music her whole life. She has been playing the piano since she was 4. At the age of 14, she started to study classical piano at the Anton Bruckner University, Linz. In addition to that, she studied Jazz Vocals and graduated with honors. LYLIT has been writing music since she was 15. While studying at university she already played a lot of concerts with her first band On Wings To Kashmir with whom she won the biggest Band Contest in Austria in 2002. In 2010 LYLIT released the song The Plan and the EP Unexpected as a solo artist. In 2015 she released her second EP Unknown which was followed by a tour through Europe. LYLIT worked with many artists such as Blumentopf, Ty, Keith Sweat, SadatX, Fiva, Texta, Joe, En Vogue, The Parov Stelar Band, Matthias Löscher and Conchita Wurst.
Andreas Lettner is a drummer and producer. He started playing drums at a very young age. Growing up in a very musical family in Upper Austria, he first stepped on stage at local events with his dad’s brass band. Later he decided to move to Linz to study Drums and Music and Media Technology at the Anton Bruckner University.
Since then he has been touring non-stop as the drummer of: LYLIT, Namby Pamby Boy, SK Invitational, Mono&Nikitaman, Parov Stelar, Paul Gulda, Harry Sokal and many more. Andreas has always been keen on working with musicians that write their own songs and arranging their compositions. This fascination led him to be a producer. He is now the proud operator of a successful vintage recording studio in Vienna and is responsible for producing artists like LYLIT and working with the Landestheater Linz or Red Bull.
Christian Neuschmid is a guitarist, songwriter and singer. He grew up in the Austrian countryside and started playing the guitar at a very early age. Later he studied the Jazz Guitar at the Music University in Graz from which he graduated with honors. In the last couple of years, he has been playing with different bands and ensembles all over Europe such as Horst Raimund or Lena Mentschel. This summer he is playing the lead banjo for the third time at Salzburg’s most famous theatre production “Jedermann” and is also working on his first solo album.
