Austrian concert organist Stefan Donner brings a captivating program of Bach’s organ works to Grace Church’s celebrated Bach at Noon series. Known for his expressive clarity and stylistic precision, Donner will perform signature pieces including the dramatic Fantasia and Fugue in G Minor, selections from the Schübler Chorales, and the Trio Sonata No. 2 in C Minor.
About the Artist
Stefan Donner is an award-winning Austrian organist praised for his command of Baroque repertoire and dynamic interpretation. A Fulbright scholar and graduate of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Conservatory of Amsterdam, he has performed across Europe, North America, Australia, and Central Asia. Donner is the winner of the 2010 Franz Schmidt Organ Competition and has recorded several acclaimed albums on historic organs in Vienna. He teaches piano and music theory in Vienna and regularly appears as a soloist and educator worldwide.
