About the Artist

Founded by Serbian-born, Vienna-based drummer and composer Esad Halilovic, Dusha Connection has become an internationally recognized ambassador of Austrian jazz. Halilovic’s artistic vision centers on bridging musical traditions: Combining the foundations of jazz with the expressive depth of his Balkan heritage.
Pianist Urs Hager, trained at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and in Vienna, brings refined craftsmanship and innovative contemporary textures to the ensemble.
Bassist Clemens Rofner, active across Europe, Asia, and North America, anchors the trio with rhythmic clarity and adventurous improvisation. A versatile musician on both double and electric bass, he is a prominent figure in the Austrian music scene.
