Due to the large number of inquiries and proposals we receive, we kindly ask for your understanding that it is not always possible to respond immediately. Support is granted after an examination and consideration of the suitability of the event/project using a series of assessment criteria relating to i.a. the content of the submitted project and its match with the thematic focus areas of the ACFNY, priorities of Austrian International Cultural Policy, as well as availability of funds. There is no individual entitlement to support.

INTERNSHIPS

The ACFNY offers paid, full time internships for a period of 2-3 months. We accept applications from motivated individuals who are interested in cultural project management, and promoting Austrian art and culture abroad. Their main task is to support our team in the organization of events, social media activities and public relations. Communication skills, social media knowledge and interest in public affairs are required. Applicants with a background in humanities, art and culture is a plus. Fluency in German and English is essential.

Please submit a current resume and cover letter in both German and English stating your interests and the time frame for which you are applying. Due to the large number of applicants, we recommend submitting your application in advance. Please do not submit letters of reference or certifications, in addition to the documents requested above.
